As a senior healthcare executive, I am deeply passionate about leveraging my clinical and operations expertise to empower organizations and support clinical quality improvements in a sustainable way, as well as use data and data analytics to drive better decisions for the long-term. Since 2018, I have served as a Region President for SpecialtyCare, a private equity-backed healthcare provider of outsourced operating room (OR) services in the US and Caribbean. Currently, I manage the newly merged Neuro Services (Neuromonitoring, Electroencephalogram) and Surgical Services (Sterile Processing, Minimally Invasive Surgical Support, Autotransfusion, and Platelet Rich Plasma) divisions.Prior to becoming Region President, I served as the Director of Operations for Neuromonitoring for 4 years, which allowed me to utilize my background as a trained clinical manager surgical neurophysiologist and combine it with my skill in driving operational excellence and continuous improvements for stronger clinical quality and service. I initially joined SpecialtyCare in 2010 as a clinical manager and clinical educator.Across my almost 15-year leadership journey at SpecialtyCare, I have consistently centered on my own hunger to learn (i.e., returning to school to earn my MBA in 2015) and to support my team and the organization to a better future. I have strived to change healthcare for the better, and it has been a constant trajectory of leading growth of the business and supporting research endeavors that illustrate value to our customers and our industry. This includes moving from one division to another to learn multiple new service lines, as well as delving into many initiatives and projects that have required learning new processes, technologies, and techniques. I truly thrive on being that go-to operational leader in times of opportunity and in times of challenge for the organization.
