Guy Shlepakov Email and Phone Number
Hello, my name is Guy. I am currently studying aerospace engineering at the Technion. If I had to define myself in one word, I would say I am an explorer. I like to explore the limits of humanity, space, and myself.I am the kind of person who likes to get things done. I believe there is no need for talent to be great; you just need to work hard towards your goals. If you can visualize your future and define clear steps to take towards it, you will make it there.I started studying with a couple of simple goals in mind: to make the world a better place, to explore the limits of what's possible, and to prove to myself that I am capable of achieving my dreams. You might be asking yourself how I plan to accomplish this. Well, that's where you come in. I am looking to make a difference in the space industry because I believe it is our future as a human species. To achieve this, I have gained experience in all major fields of the industry, from control and simulations using MATLAB Simulink and Python to CAD software like SolidWorks and Creo. What is most important to me in a company is being a significant part of it. I am a very good team player with multiple projects under my belt. I can also work independently if needed, but what truly drives me is tackling incredibly difficult missions. I enjoy the challenge. So, if you are from any space company and have some incredibly challenging tasks, sign me up. I am not here for the money or the fame; the only thing that fuels me is the challenge!Let's connect and together make the world a better place.

Captains DeputyIsraeli Navy Jul 2018 - Jun 2021Ashdod, South District, IsraelIn my role as the captain's deputy in the Israeli Navy, my responsibilities extended beyond operational command to encompass a multifaceted set of tasks. During routine periods, I played a pivotal role in the meticulous maintenance of our naval assets, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of weaponry, radar systems, optronics, and various ammunition components. This involved not only addressing immediate issues but also implementing preventive measures to ensure the optimal functionality of these critical systems. Additionally, I took charge of logistical aspects, overseeing the procurement and distribution of essential supplies, ranging from food to equipment, in collaboration with logistical support teams. This dual focus on technical maintenance and logistical efficiency highlighted the holistic nature of my position, requiring a versatile skill set to manage diverse aspects of naval operations. Navigating through routine maintenance tasks, I honed my expertise in all facets of the ship's systems, emphasizing the importance of sustained readiness. This comprehensive experience underscored the integral role that meticulous maintenance and logistical precision play in sustaining a highly capable naval force, particularly in the dynamic and challenging maritime environment. -
Private TutorHashalom School Nov 2017 - Apr 2018Mizpe Ramon, South District, IsraelNavigating the role of a Private Tutor at Hashalom School in Mitzpe Ramon was profoundly challenging as I worked closely with a student who not only survived a severe car accident but also grappled with the emotional aftermath of unintentionally causing the death of his best friend. Compounded by false accusations from classmates, who labeled the incident as murder, the situation demanded not only academic support but also intense mental and emotional care. Beyond adapting teaching materials, I became a source of mental and emotional support, fostering a safe space for the student to process and heal. Collaborating with school professionals, I played a crucial role in dispelling misconceptions and aiding the student's mental well-being, emphasizing the importance of holistic support in the face of overwhelming circumstances. -
Educational GuideDelphis Sep 2016 - Jun 2017Ashdod, South District, IsraelIn my role at Delphis, previously known as the Israeli Marine Mammal Information and Assistance Research Center (IMMRAC), I served as a tour guide, leading concise 30-minute tours for visiting groups. These tours focused on the critical status of marine mammals in the Mediterranean Sea, particularly off the coast of Israel. I also actively participated in expeditions approximately every two or three months, navigating the Mediterranean waters to study local dolphins. Employing photo-identification methods, we monitored individual behavior, tailoring conservation measures to address the specific challenges unique to the region. This experience, blending educational outreach with targeted fieldwork, underscored the urgency of addressing and understanding the distinctive challenges faced by marine life in the Mediterranean off the coast of Israel under the Delphis initiative. -
Yacht TechnicianOrt Israel, Technology & Science Educational Network רשת אורט ישראל Jul 2016 - Oct 2016Ashdod, South District, IsraelAt 17, I delved into yacht maintenance, specializing in fixing fiberglass holes and applying Interlux InterSleek paint. Operating independently, my daily routine involved meticulously repairing yacht bodies, assessing damages, applying fiberglass patches, and skillfully applying InterSleek paint for a sleek finish. This solitary approach heightened my self-reliance, precision, and attention to detail, as I seamlessly blended repairs. The boatyard, with its rhythmic dance of sanding and transformative brushstrokes, became a personal and meditative workspace. Communicating directly with yacht owners, translating technical details into layman's terms, was crucial for ensuring their confidence in the repairs. A standout project involved repairing a significant fiberglass puncture, pushing my skills but resulting in immeasurable satisfaction. Operating without a team underscored my self-discipline and autonomy. After completing each task, I independently called the manager, fostering a direct line of communication. Beyond tangible repairs, this experience cultivated craftsmanship, shaping my technical prowess. Grateful for challenges and triumphs, I carry forward gained skills and confidence into future endeavors.
