Navigating the role of a Private Tutor at Hashalom School in Mitzpe Ramon was profoundly challenging as I worked closely with a student who not only survived a severe car accident but also grappled with the emotional aftermath of unintentionally causing the death of his best friend. Compounded by false accusations from classmates, who labeled the incident as murder, the situation demanded not only academic support but also intense mental and emotional care. Beyond adapting teaching materials, I became a source of mental and emotional support, fostering a safe space for the student to process and heal. Collaborating with school professionals, I played a crucial role in dispelling misconceptions and aiding the student's mental well-being, emphasizing the importance of holistic support in the face of overwhelming circumstances.

In my role at Delphis, previously known as the Israeli Marine Mammal Information and Assistance Research Center (IMMRAC), I served as a tour guide, leading concise 30-minute tours for visiting groups. These tours focused on the critical status of marine mammals in the Mediterranean Sea, particularly off the coast of Israel. I also actively participated in expeditions approximately every two or three months, navigating the Mediterranean waters to study local dolphins. Employing photo-identification methods, we monitored individual behavior, tailoring conservation measures to address the specific challenges unique to the region. This experience, blending educational outreach with targeted fieldwork, underscored the urgency of addressing and understanding the distinctive challenges faced by marine life in the Mediterranean off the coast of Israel under the Delphis initiative.

A standout project involved repairing a significant fiberglass puncture, pushing my skills but resulting in immeasurable satisfaction. Operating without a team underscored my self-discipline and autonomy. After completing each task, I independently called the manager, fostering a direct line of communication. Beyond tangible repairs, this experience cultivated craftsmanship, shaping my technical prowess. Grateful for challenges and triumphs, I carry forward gained skills and confidence into future endeavors.
