Other than my daily responsibilities with Sea Watch International I am actively involved in the fisheries management process for the Domestic Offshore Clam industry. I regulary participate in the Mid Atlantic Fisheries Management Counsel meetings. I serve on the Board of Directors of the National Fisheries Institute where I am also the Chairman of the NFI Clam Committee. I am on the Industry Advisory Board for the National Science Foundations newly formed Science Center for Marine Fisheries. My invlovement in these organizations are to ensure the ongoing sustainability of the Offshore Domestic Clam industry which includes the Atlantic Surf Clam and Ocean Quahog.
