An established senior executive in the disciplines of process improvement and project management. Mr. Taylor was a foundation-level contributor to the corpus of knowledge and experience that established the Software Engineering Institute’s (SEI) Capability Maturity Model – Integrated (CMMI). With more than twenty successful years leading and administering IT programs for the U.S. Department of Defense, Mr. Taylor led the development of best IT practices and empirical methodologies for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) – U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Since his federal service Mr. Taylor has held high level positions with federal contractors in leading business development as well as supporting multiple DHS components in Capital Planning and Investment Control, Strategic Planning, and Process Improvement. A PMI-certified Project Management Professional, Mr. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems and a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems. Mr. Taylor has also received recognition and distinctions from the Federal Executive Institute and Carnegie Mellon University.
