Guy Trangoš is an Associate Professor in the Graduate School of Architecture and a professional architect. His research explores the intersections of urbanisation, society, technology, and infrastructure. He holds a Doctor of Design from Harvard University, a Master of Science from the London School of Economics, and a Master of Architecture from the University of the Witwatersrand. Guy has held academic positions at UJ, Harvard GSD, Wits, LSE Cities and the Gauteng City-Region Observatory. His work, published widely, includes the book "The Spatialities of Radio Astronomy" (Routledge, 2023), which examines the spatial impacts of big science projects. He has over fifteen years of experience practising architecture and has been instrumental in award-winning architectural, research, curatorial and graphic projects.
