• Designed and built a haptic device from idea to execution using CAD software (SolidWorks), 3D printing, microcontrollers, force sensors and other electronics. The device was successfully used in over 10 user experiments and was published in the well-known journal IEEE Transactions on Haptics.• Solved an existing measurement problem by inventing a new measurement concept and optimizing it to reduce errors from over 10% to only 1%. Created a validation protocol for the new concept.• Implemented a motor control loop for a robotic mechanism into an Arduino microcontroller using C/C++ and developed MATLAB programs for the user interface, data collection and data analysis.
