After 25 years’ experience where I worked in a variety of sectors, across privately owned businesses and professional accounting firms, I was invited to join HLB Mann Judd in Western Australia as a Partner to lead the Tax Consulting Division. HLB International is ranked in the top 12 largest accounting and business advisory groups world-wide, with more than 1,900 member firm partners plus 14,000 staff in over 500 offices.As the Tax Consulting Partner in WA my role is to develop our tax advisory and tax planning services, and to assist HLB clients with specialist tax advice, analysis and plans to ensure they make fully informed decisions. My experience includes tax consulting and plans relating to business purchases, mergers and acquisitions, management buy-outs, exit strategies and restructures. I am known for my combined analytical, commercial and technical knowledge that clients have found to be of value when reviewing their options and plans. I enjoy creating scenario-based financial models to provide forecasts of the alternative courses of action, and am experienced in funding assessments and the determination of enterprise and equity valuations. My advice is also sought with regard to large scale transaction work, property development and the tax impacts of consolidations and losses – both from a domestic and international perspective.
