DFW Claim MitigationAs lead analyst for Bowman Engineering & Consulting, we served as a sub-consultant to PMA Consultants’ contract with DFW Airport. Bowman provided resources and experience to compile unbiased due diligence to support claim litigation. One such example required the measurement, photography, and inventory of almost 200 directional signs in both the secured and unsecured areas of the airport. An additional example project necessitated a detailed inventory of every piece of glass balustrade for all escalators connecting four of the five terminals to the Skylink circulator system. This inventory was to determine which pieces needed to be replaced in the creation of a cost estimate for a claim situation.Trudy’s Dripping Springs RestaurantAs Project Manager for Bowman Engineering & Consulting, we provided oversight for project design and procurement of a three story, 24,000 square foot restaurant. This role required the coordination between project architects, various engineers, contractors, state and local municipalities, and the private owners. During the project, BEC provided management over the daily construction activities to include of all foundation and steel erection. These duties included the excavation of a 12,000 square foot basement, 12 inch think cast-in-place walls, procurement and on-site fabrication of all structural steel with coordination of two elevator shafts, and all associated underground plumbing and electric.Denton County Transportation Authority, Construction Management Services, A-Train - CM/GCAs Resident Construction Manager for the $200 million construction of a $312+ million, 21-mile corridor regional A-train passenger rail line.
