I’m a senior executive and business leader with a professional and general management career spanning almost 40 years in the global real estate and support services industries. Since starting my career in commercial real estate agency in 1983, I held progressively senior positions in real estate development and investment firms in London, before joining Johnson Controls, where I led, successively, the UK, European and global FM services business, ultimately becoming the Chief Commercial Officer, leading to the sale of the business unit to CBRE in September 2015. In my management roles I have led national and international business units with sales volumes between $500m to over $4Bn, and up to 17,000 employees. I have worked with large client organisations across many industry sectors, understanding how real estate impacts and delivers true benefits to a business, to help it achieve its core goals.Now at CBRE, I lead the Occupier Advisory and Transactions line of business in Europe, and serve as a member of the UK and Continental European Excoms, bringing the capabilities of the world’s largest real estate services firm to help occupiers maximise the benefits for their businesses from real estate.Through my career I have been often recognised as an industry voice, with views appearing in The Guardian, The Sunday Telegraph and The Independent, and I was recognised in 'Globalization Today' magazine's 'Powerhouse 25', as one of the most influential professionals in the global outsourcing industry.If we have previously worked together or if you are interested in finding more about our services please connect with me on LinkedIn.
