As a principal researcher, designer, and strategist at Wondros, Guy uniquely blends his background in the humanities, journalism, research, and design to craft powerful solutions and strategies that shape and give voice to the missions and passions of our clients. Guy's strategy and storytelling expertise have been central to Wondros being awarded and then executing on a number of successful, large, and complex federal and state level communications, marketing, brand strategy, and program development projects, including the landmark National Institutes of Health All of Us Research Program, the University of Pittsburgh CTSI, Harvard Medical School Department of Biomedical Informatics, the California Department of Health Care Access and Information, and the California Office of Planning and Research, to name a few. In his business development role, Guy serves as a lead strategist and writer for government contracts, developing strategic responses to RFPs and other contracting instruments, as well as helping to lead the development and optimization of internal systems and processes related to business development. As a journalist, Guy brought a unique perspective informed by his background in design and the humanities, as well as many years living abroad and traveling. Guy's work has been prominently featured on ArchDaily.com, where he started The Indicator, a critical blog on the culture, politics, and business of design and architecture. He has been a frequent contributor to The Architect's Newspaper and Metropolis Magazine, where he was also a contributing editor and features writer. He has also written for The Atlantic's CityLab, and The Huffington Post, where he was a featured blogger on design and architecture. Other publications he has contributed to include Architectural Record, Architect Magazine, GOOD Magazine, Archinect.com., Curbed.com, Architecture Asia, Grand Tour Magazine, and Contract Magazine. In addition to print and web media, Guy was also a design journalist for Los Angeles' flagship NPR affiliate 89.9 FM KCRW, contributing to the show, DnA: Design and Architecture hosted and produced by Frances Anderton.Having spent many years in both China and Japan, Guy is also fluent and literate in Mandarin Chinese and Japanese.
