His work as a senior architect included both design and project management skills for both new construction and renovation projects. Guy began his career at an early age helping his father build houses and fine furniture. His formal education included the study of fine arts, industrial design, metalsmithing, photography, interior design and architecture. Guy’s focus is on creating an artistic, authentic experience that is both meaningful and beautiful. He believes that exceptional design develops out of a healthy process of direct client participation, creative thinking and collaborative teamwork. He starts each new project exploring both the practical function and strong emotional relationships between the physical space and the materials that we see and touch to create inspiring environments in which we live, work and play. As both Project Architect and Project Manager, Guy has very strong professional management skills, including client relationship, written and verbal communication, construction documentation, time management, negotiation and team supervision. He has a comprehensive understanding of the design business, including profitability objectives, long -term strategic planning, emerging industry trends and client satisfaction. He truly embraces the art of the design business. His recent work includes projects in Amsterdam, England, Paris, Portugal, India, the Caribbean, New York City, Washington DC and San Francisco. His personal interests includes drawing, furniture design and photography. He recently co-authored a book entitled The Shadows of Japan: Images and Words.
