A contract role within the eSPACE programme of HealthShare Ltd, a shared services agency of which all five Midland District Health Boards are shareholders. The goal of the eSPACE programme is to deliver a portal for clinicians which works across all the district health boards in the Midland region.With multiple work streams running, my role is Solution.

A hands-on management role establishing and running the Rapid Prototyping Team within the Research & Development Department of LIC. Taking a lean approach, we worked with farmers to develop software products which focused on solving problems they were having on farm.ProjectsFeed Management. Over my years of contracting, I enjoyed exposure to a wide range of people and businesses. I spent most of my time contracting through Theta Systems Ltd, working with companies such as Genesis Energy, Affco, and Fonterra. In my final year of contracting, I was independent and developed a web-based application to support a start-up business, focused on dry.

In my time as a web developer with NZDG, I both streamlined and extended their web-based offering. This was the first time that I had first-hand experience of being truly customer driven. The web site team was driven from “Anchor line”, the phone support center. “Anchor line” was hearing first hand what people wanted, and were the first to hear if.
