This role involved working as part of a team focusing on the maintenance and enhancement of existing systems, as well as the creation of new systems to aid specific organisation departments. - Part of a small team that developed a new web application. The aim of this application was to retire old, internally developed applications, as well as to provide new functionality to the business. I was responsible for the initial technical design and prototyping. I then worked with the team to refine the designs and to complete the development work. This involved MVC 5, Entity Framework 6, WebAPI, Bootstrap, JQuery, DataTables.js, JsViews and Octopusfor CI.- Designed and implemented a new website for GK Project Managers to create, manage and report on projects specific to the IT department. - Principal developer for the design and implementation of an public facing Web Portal, created using MVC 5, Bootstrap and JQuery. This role involved working as part of a team focusing on maintenance and enhancement of a market leading Facilities and Asset Management system used both domestically and internationally across several sectors including healthcare and education. - Designing and developing a complex Facilities and Asset Management software solution in a using C#, SQL, MVC, HTML and CSS. Investigating and fixing reported bugs, implementing enhancements and creating new features. - Being part of a team of three developers who were responsible for the early design and development of a new website to compliment the main software solution; this was written using MVC and Razor. I was involved in fortnightly review meetings with the client to discuss the progress made with the website and any required changes. - Creating a bespoke application to turn a PDF document into a series of images. This involved learning aspects of the Adobe API/SDK, WPF/XAML and effective memory management when dealing with large document binaries stored in a SQL database. - I was selected to work closely with a high profile funding agency to create a series of bespoke SSRS reports.
