Redesigned and verified working load limits on positioning equipment for complex, delicate electron microscopy columns. Solved sensor pin breakage in interlock switch. Reduced leakage of a high-voltage electrostatic measuring system by 100x to a picoamp level. Eliminated pin stubbing problem in a shrouded header vs. cable receptacle problem. Characterized and invented an improved inspection method for a high-precision 1mm carbon-ball radial contact bearing. -
