About Guy Merritt

As a seasoned business and engineering executive, my experiences have uniquely qualified me to tackle the most complex challenges facing technology companies today. From the start up world to the very largest of companies, my leadership roles have taught me the very foundations of business excellence. The responsibilities required me to build global software engineering teams both organically and using contract engineering firms, develop disciplined business and engineering practices and create and innovate using the latest technologies to achieve the business targets for revenue and profit. My experiences in project management resulted in a collaborative writing effort for the book, "Proactive Risk Management: Controlling Uncertainty in Product Development" with the time-to-market guru, Preston G. Smith. "Proactive Risk Management" was recognized by Executive Book Summaries as one of the "Top 30 Business Books" and it was also awarded the David I. Cleland Literature Award by the Project Management Institute for being the most influential project management book.In 2023, the follow awards and recognition were received: IoT Community's Man of the Year, SoftServe's GameChanger and SoftServe's Marketing Partner of the Year.
