Over the past two years I've had about 100 meetings with tech and telecommunication companies across the Emerging Markets and Asia. I've researched, discussed and argued with a thoughtful team of investment analysts. I've already learnt a lot.

• Strategy Project Building a Business Model for a UK Telecom - I interviewed various client employees to find out the characteristic cash inflows and outflows of the different capital expenditure options. I then created the first version of the excel business model with that information. • Large UK Retail Bank - I built new processes and managed their acceptance and implementation into the organisation.

Working with the small business team, I researched and wrote three reports on the global telecommunications industry. I produced reports on the competitive position of Vodafone Group and Telefónica S.A. Future threats and opportunities for telecommunication revenue generally were another subject on which I produced a report. Another of my responsibilities was to support any team member's project by producing a summary of all the propositions that might compete with it. Finally I was able to contribute by briefing a new staff member on topics relating to the future of the telecommunications industry and the global situation of our UK competitors.
