Led multi-functional teams, set the campaign strategy, including the negotiation and pricing approaches and designed availability combat engine support solutions securing five year support contracts for Saudi Arabia’s Tornado RB199 and Typhoon EJ200 engines worth over £500m. In the process of securing the next five year phases for both with enhanced service levels worth in excess of £1bn. Twice commended for the Rolls-Royce Defence President’s award.• Global 4.5 generation fighter requirements leading to national procurement programmes needed to be addressed to capture new business. Headed multi-functional teams, set the capture strategy including pricing and industrialisation approaches on multiple campaigns in concert with the airframe prime contractor. In 2013, secured the contract for engines for the Omani Typhoons and a three year engine support contract. In 2016, secured the contract for engines for the Kuwaiti Typhoons. The order for engines for the Qatari Typhoons is imminent with a support solution to follow. The contract for engines for Saudi Arabia’s 2nd batch of Typhoons is price agreed awaiting order.
