Provided hands-on field support of tools including major system upgrades.Owned of all system documentation including: Solidworks Models, Detail Drawings, Component/Subsystem Specifications, System P&ID, Costed BOM, Spare Parts List, Final Acceptance and Project Schedule.

Investigated and scoped all customer automation applications and focusing on facilitating Airline’s value added capabilities for New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts.Participated in managing the business process of growing Airline’s New England Branch: understanding customer’s needs, defining problems & implementing solutions, documenting requirements (quotations and proposals), scheduling, management, cost calculations, risk/crisis management.

Mechanical design (ProE Wildfire 1.0) and release of products for very demanding and harsh marine environments including: plastic injection molded parts & assemblies, metal castings, mechanisms, ergonomic design, seals, salt water resistance, high UV exposure, thermal cycling, vibration & shock, medium volume, tight costing, Alpha/Beta prototypes, and compliance.Led the design and release of new products into production including management of projects and internal/external resources using a Stage Gate structured process.Supervised Engineering Services staff including the control and maintenance of all engineering documentation, Release/ECO process, New Product Development Procedure and BOM Database. $1M to $2M in new product revenue to the business. Reported to the VP of R&D/Engineering responsible for the development and production release of Inspex's newest $2M 300mm Patterned Wafer Inspection System. Defined and documented the entire development process used to bring products from concept to market. Mechanical design (Solidworks) & testing at all system levels from top level user performance down to mechanism and component level. Laser light delivery and safety, wafer handling & precision positioning of microscope and camera, system frame design, and HMI integration.Created project plans & managed major projects in a matrix structure with a staff of 15 engineers including mechanical, electrical and software disciplines from junior to senior skill levels within the departments. Coordinated critical communications between Sales & Marketing, Engineering, Field Support, & Manufacturing. Responsible for: Product definition, budget & cost controls, test & acceptance specs., schedule, crisis management, regulatory compliance, training, and reporting to senior management.

Senior Project Manager reporting directly to the General Manager of Machine Automation Technology, which is responsible for automation to all the manufacturing business units. Managed multiple, large capital equipment projects (typically $500K to $1M+ actively involving 15 or more personnel at a time); led both internal and outsourced teams consisting of all skill and education levels to design and build high volume automation equipment for high density connector products. Directed project teams, authored complete system level specifications, qualified & managed suppliers, progress reports to senior management, and ensured the completion of project deliverables to customer.Organized and conducted all design reviews, managed communication between stake holders & final acceptance, and ensured on time delivery TCS’ manufacturing facilities located throughout the world.
