During my time as a Senior in the Orlando market I audited clients in the healthcare, manufacturing/distribution and hospitality industries. My primary client is a large multi-hospital healthcare system with approximately $4 billion annually in revenue. During my time serving this client, I have audited the implementation of new IT systems, multiple acquisitions, and implementation of new accounting standards. My second year on the client I was the lead senior and responsible for the day to day operations of the audit. My team included a total of 5 accountants (2 seniors and 3 staff with a mix of onshore and off shore personnel). During my second busy season I focused on auditing more complex areas, including the AR/Revenue cycle, medical malpractice liability, and business combinations. I was also responsible for managing and leveraging our data analytics to execute our audit procedures. In addition to my primary client, I spent two busy seasons serving a manufacturing and distribution client, a $5 billion plastic distribution company. During my time I assisted in managing a team of (4 staff and 3 interns). I was responsible for overseeing the testing of payroll, cash-flow, accounts payable and debt/leases. At this client I also assisted in the audit of business combinations.I spent two busy seasons serving my hospitality client, a $60 million company. My first year I served as the lead senior, reviewing a substantial portion of the work prepared by the staff. In my second year I served as the acting manager, as the previous manager left the firm and the client was small enough to allow me to take on the manager responsibilities. In this capacity, our team came in under on budgeted hours and we realized a higher margin than originally planned for by 2%.
