Over the past 6 years I have been working as a Lead Designer in the Electronic Engineering department at Bentley Motors. Working on various projects such as, creating a new user interface for a touch screen remote that has been implemented into the new Flying Spur. As well, as creating the new main unit and touch screen remote for the Bentayga facelift, which is going to be released in the next few months. In addition, I was a key stakeholder in the UI direction for the My Bentley Mobile Application that allows a user to control a Bentley from their mobile phone.

I have been working as a lead designer with the Terraquest product team for the past 3 years. As the lead UI designer I set the tone and art direction for the England and Welsh government Terraquest products and the new Planning Portal and administration portal. Whilst working at Terraquest I have been responsible for creating:• Responsive web applications for planning portal England and the Welsh government.• Created multiple atomic design systems including core components, page patterns,interactions for England, Northern Ireland and Welsh planning portal.• Created prototypes using invision and ProtoPie to show the user journeys, these different flows could then be used when creating the stories and handing over to the development department.• Created a documentation portal for the design systems using zero height. This was used by designers and development department as the source of truth.

Bristol

Using Sketch, Zeplin and Brand AI I created a design system and component library for ADP that allows the design and development teams to create new user journeys using components and styling that can be seamlessly synced with any new UI design change. Allowing quick updates to the UI styling within existing artwork which in turn really helped speed up the design and development time of the new product.

Remote Contract

As a part of the Super User Studio team, I created a new UI design system and component library for Thomsons Online Benefits. This project was a full overhaul of the existing user interface, which included making a fully functional prototype and admin portal for the current product, before creating the new user interface and design system. Thomsons Online Benefits are providers of employee benefits for large enterprise organisations. They take care of employees pensions, insurance, spending accounts, holiday trading, medical, dental.

Remote Contract

I created a UI design system for Vuelio.co.uk (UK Media Database). This was a complete overhaul of the existing user interface using Sketch and Zeplin to streamline the design process, I created a library of UI components allowing the development team at Vuelio to easily rebuild existing pages and add new functionality when needed.

As a part of the multi-channel team, I created online content and helped streamline the workflow of the design team. I was also involved with creating print ready assets and marketing campaigns for the marketing department.

The project was a full overhaul of the existing Jet2.com website functionality using the latest technology and best practices to create a seamless experience for users on mobile, tablet and desktop devices.

As a part of the knowledge and learning team within the BBC I created user experience and visual design for the BBC Food and iWonder Timelines projects. During the BBC Food project I gathered user feedback for the existing food website, created prototypes from the user findings before creating the atomic style guide and responsive mobile first recipe pages.
