After coming home to give back all that his city gave him, Guy has spent 17 years as a Youth Development Professional and Community Advocate in the City of Camden. As a Director for the Boys & Girls Club of Camden County and an Educator for Rutgers University he gained experience in Nonprofit Management, Community Development, Urban Revitalization and Program Management. He specializes in Executive Leadership and Organizational Expansion. While his Bachelor’s degree is in Journalism and Communications, he also has a Master’s degree in Executive Public Administration. Guy has experience in Commerce based Communtiy Development, as he has worked as a Project Director for The Enterprise Center: Camden Cares Business Center, where he served as a Consultant for Small Businesses in the City of Camden, NJ. Guy served as a Dean of School Climate & Culture for the Mastery Charter School network.Guy is also VP of Operations at Kennith Thomas & Associates; a Motivational Speaking and Life Coaching Company focused on uplifting, encouraging and ultimately shifting the mindset toward better everyday living through love, faith and humility.
