I have over 16 years experience as a public school Band Director / Choral Director and Clinician. I have successfully built numerous band programs over my career and have the experience of growing student, parent and community involvement with every program. I have successfully taught elementary and middle school General Music to advanced Concert/Jazz/Marching/Drumline/Winter Guard to Orchestra/PitOrchestra to Choir/Show Choir,Music Theory/History. My Musical Ensembles have been invited to perform at Regional and National events across the country and have consistently been rated the highest ratings of Superior/Excellent in all performances. I hold a Master's of Arts Degree in Secondary Education: Music/Conducting, from Western Kentucky University and a Bachelor of Music Education: Instrumental Music K-12 from James Madison University. I have studied conducting with Dr. Kent Campbell, Joseph Stites, Music Education from Mike Davis and Pat Rooney. Continued studies with Frank Wickes, Tim Lautzenhizer and Jack Wynn.I am a successful teacher and consultant bringing a proven track record of high quality results and leadership in musical ensembles and organizations. A proven developer, planner and motivator, I continually look for ways to improve the way education and business gets done.
