As the Family and Community Coordinator at the Richmond District YMCA, I worked as a Programmatic resource for the Youth and Families the YMCA served in the Richmond District Neighborhood.In this role, I managed multiple sets of programs. From our Ykid's Program (In house Childcare), Youth Sports programs at Neighboring Pre-Schools, Youth Dance and Movement Classes, and weekend Programming for our Families, and parent resource events.With Family and Community Programming, I had the opportunity to strategize and expand my experience of being a supervisor to numerous staff, worked on their development into Program Leaders in the Programming I oversaw. With this position I built strong relationships within our community and city. From sports teams to performing arts centers, Education Centers, Arts programs. This was done to streamline resources within communities. With my team of peers and management team, we strategized and worked hard to execute team recruitment and retention. Where I was actively involved in team development.

Richmond District Ymca

With this role, I oversaw youth in the elementary age rage. My primary role was a youth supervisor and educator. Working with a team and site coordinator to create curriculum surrounding the creative arts, science and health. This role was the entry way to continuing my development for team leadership, youth development and community relationships building.
