During my Internship at Cyient DLM Ltd., I had the opportunity to work under Kaushal Jadia (Senior VP & CTO at Cyient DLM Ltd.) alongside Krytvi Sharma (Pre-Final Year ECE Student at SRM Institute) on a DVOR System.DVOR stands for Doppler Very High Frequency Omni Direction Range;It is an Aircraft Navigation System that helps pilots determine their bearing to the DVOR station, aiding in safe navigation.DVOR is an enhanced version of the older CVOR (Conventional VOR) system which utilizes the Doppler effect to provide more accurate and reliable signals, especially in challenging terrain that operates in the VHF Frequency Band (108-118 MHz).Learnings> Delved into the intricacies of Doppler VHF Omnidirectional Range (DVOR) systems, culminating in the Design of a Functional Block Diagram.> Successfully Simulated the Receiver Chain, encompassing FPGA and DSP components, using MATLAB.> Further validated results through Code Implementation on a TMS320C6657 Board using Code Composer Studio.

During my Internship at Avantel Ltd, I delved into the fascinating world of Electronics and Communication Systems, providing me with hands-on experience in their design and development process.Learnings:> The Design Cycle: Gained a comprehensive understanding of the entire design flow, from conceptualizing an idea to building a functional system. This learning encompassed requirements gathering, system architecture, circuit design, and PCB layout.> Electronics Fundamentals: Solidified my knowledge of electronic components like resistors, capacitors, transistors, and integrated circuits. I also learned how they interact to form the building blocks of electronic systems.> Communication Principles: Explored the fundamentals of communication systems, including signal transmission, modulation, demodulation, and various communication protocols used in modern electronics.> Development Tools and Techniques: I got familiarized with industry-standard software tools for designing electronic circuits and PCBs.

This internship provided me with a strong foundation in various electronic engineering disciplines and practical skills in understanding critical electronic systems.
