I am an MEng student in the Electromagnetics research group at Stellenbosch University. I have a wide range of interests from High Frequency Circuits, to Software Development, to Robotics and Machine Learning.My main passion is to try an find practical problems to real-world solutions, and I have experience doing so at SmartTech, where I worked as a part-time Software Developer working on computational geometry and computer vision algorithms to help develop their latest CAD software. My current thesis worked is also very hands-on, where I am involved in antenna modelling for the radio astronomy project "REACH", which aims to make a detection of the 21-cm hydrogen line.Although many of my interests are centred around technology, I also love running, sport, and also produce electronic music in my free time under the producer name Gasko.
