PhD in Transport Engineering at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Coppe-UFRJ). Postdoctoral researcher at the Freight Transport Laboratory (Coppe-UFRJ), with experience at institutions such as the Institute of Applied Economics (Ipea), the Brazilian Institute for Sustainable Transport (IBTS), Coke, Edson Queiroz Group and Wobben-Enercon. Currently holds the position of Associate in the Energy sector at United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and is part of the Roster of Experts (ROE) at UNFCCC. Winner of two scientific production awards, and author of more than 60 scientific papers and technical reports, including publications in some of the major international scientific journals. Reviewer of the scientific journals Nature, Climate Policy, Journal of Cleaner Production, Sustainability and Transport. Particularly interested in inventories, scenarios, regulations, and policy and financial instruments for the energy transition in passenger and freight mobility in Latin America and Caribbean (LAC), with a consistent record of successfully completed projects for global clients such as IKI, BID, GIZ, IDDRI, SSN and the World Bank Group.
