About Gretchen Ward, Ms, Otr/L
I have worked with children and youth in a variety of settings from traditional to private special needs schools to private practice, early intervention and residential settings. I am an eager collaborator with all colleagues and have presented at state conference on collaboration with teachers, BCBAs, and music therapists in the school setting. I believe in treating the whole person and addressing the person, occupation, environment fit to help promote independence for the client. I have also worked with adult populations with autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, and other cognitive and physical limitations to promote independence. Currently, I serve as a consultant for MPower Me where they connect individuals and communities with technology to unlock hidden potentials and foster interdependence and independence for people with cognitive support needs. I am open to consult with any providers to modernize their service delivery models and develop solutions to improve the occupational performance and social participation of their clients by reducing physical, cognitive, and sensory barriers to access.
