Gwendoline Watson grew up in Highland Park, Texas. Ms. Watson currently resides in Temecula, California. She began coaching recreational gymnastics at Richardson Gymnastics during her senior year of high school. During high school, Ms. Watson was the captain of her gymnastics team, an All-American cheerleader, a Duke Tip Scholar, and a Girl Scout Gold Award recipient. She attended Ole Miss, where she became a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. In May 2016, Ms. Watson graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor's degree in General Studies, with a focus on English, Journalism, and Professional Writing. Following graduation, she moved to Southern California to fulfill her dream of living near the beach. Ms. Watson coached recreational and in-house competitive gymnastics at Wildfire Gymnastics for two years, then coached recreational and Xcel gymnastics at Inland Empire Gymnastics Academy for one year. Finally, she coached Xcel gymnastics at San Clemente Gymnastics Club.Ms. Watson loved coaching children, so she decided to pursue a career in teaching. In 2019, she worked as a teacher at San Clemente Preschool, and in 2020, she served as a substitute teacher for the Capistrano Unified School District. During the Covid-19 epidemic, she worked as a private elementary and preschool teacher, tutor, and nanny. In 2021, Ms. Watson is currently working as a substitute teacher for the Temecula Valley Unified School District and as a gymnastics coach for Fallbrook Gymnastics. Ms. Watson is in the process of completing her multiple subject teaching credential and Master's degree in Education at National University. She anticipates completing her M.Ed and obtaining her California multiple subject credential by the summer of 2024.
