I worked within the SchoolTool team to maintain and develop new functionality for Mindex's flagship product - SchoolTool - that is utilized in many different districts across New York state. The SchoolTool product is a permissions-driven school administrative system that handles the day-to-day activities within a school including attendance, assignments + grading, discipline + referrals, medical information storage, report card management, student information export, and any other additional user-defined data that a school would work to track. I have worked to get SchoolTool to be OneRoster certified, allowing school districts to utilize the IMS standards to interact with API endpoints that handle key areas including demographics, assignments, and class schedules. My main responsibilities included modernizing the various modules & sub-modules based on NYS standards (for example, supporting options for non-binary gender, affirmed name, and handling assigned sex at birth for medical records), fixing in-field issues that districts report to Mindex to ensure ease of usage and continued wellbeing, and supporting new functionality requested from districts that they would like to see implemented within our SchoolTool software (ex: multilingual report cards).

I worked within a team environment to develop applications for the University’s Health Lab medical center, aiming to improve patient care and wellness and utilize new technologies to advance health care into the future. I worked to create PROVOS-UI, a new web application to manage and analyze patient responses to periodic questionnaires during their entire treatment process/timeline that utilizes ASP .NET Core along with SQL for data storage, acquisition, and aggregation. I also worked to design data hierarchy, mapping, and display utilizing SQL stored procedures and the Highcharts Javascript library for data visualization. I have also assisted the development of some of the health lab's brain wellness games in Unity.

I was a course assistant for Software Design for Computing Systems (SWEN 340) that went over coding practices for embedded and real-time development utilizing the STM32 bit board and C coding.

I worked within Target's supply chain team on the Demand Aware Real-time Replenishment Engine (DARRE), working to restock inventory on an as-need basis. This involves maintaining a whitelist of products that can be supplied to Target stores within specific areas, determining how much of a product can be shipped to each Target store, and working with other teams within Target in order to prepare for high-demand items and times and troubleshoot any orders. Work consisted of Python scripting in order to query nonSQL databases such as MongoDB and Java + Spring development.

I worked on converting Websphere applications to Tomcat applications, debugg errors presented by Moog's help desk with applications (both due to and independent from changing environments for applications), modified applications to add user requested enhancements (both redesigning and improving the applications), managed the data transfer (both from Websphere to Tomcat as well as from Github to VSTS), and worked as a Product Owner for MOOG applications, serving as a direct link of knowledge between the users of these applications and the development team.

I worked to develop various tools for GE Aviation’s setup of DOORS (Word document exporter, Verification Test Organizer, post-export formatting tools), test various parts of the main communication system for the 777X, update and create documentation to reflect new changes from legacy systems (RIU193, RIU300), and generate test cases for new parts of the system + system operations.

I was hired by Kelly Services to work for Calgon Carbon Corporation on Project Lily, a project dedicated to implementing their SAP system for their newly acquired chemical plant in Paris, France. I worked to update and edit documentation, sort and convert data, configure and create templates for new data storage, and set up templates to sort and filter both new and old data. I worked with the data conversion coordinator Dan Smalls to accomplish this.
