I am a passionate technologist, who enjoys analysis and problem solving using skills acquired throughout my education combined with research and self-teaching/practical experimentation. I read Computer Science at Emanuel College, Cambridge, England graduating with a 2:1 degree across what was an extraordinarily disruptive period, with lectures and tutorials hampered by the global Covid pandemic. I have worked with both hardware and software, having worked on several commercial projects as well as personal projects. I am an active member of my local Hackspace where I have rebuilt, configured and written custom code for devices such as 3D printers and Laser cutters.I have also written mods for the popular PC Game, Minecraft that enables multi-threading on what was originally a single threaded game. This boosts performance particularly in server environments hosting many users. To date the mod is subject to 70k+ downloads.
