Glenn Whitman (@gwhitmancttl) is a History teacher at St. Andrew’s where he also directs the Center for Transformative Teaching and Learning that was awarded the International Mind, Brain, and Education Society's "Mission Award". Glenn is the co-author of Neuroteach: Brain Science and the Future of Education and co-designer of Neuroteach Global. Glenn is a former Martin Institute for Teaching Excellence Fellow and author of Dialogue with the Past: Engaging Students and Meeting Standards through Oral History as well as co-editor of Think Differently and Deeply, the international publication of the CTTL. Glenn earned his MALS from Dartmouth College and a BA from Dickinson College. Glenn has presented at public, private, and international school conferences world-wide including: Learning Forward, New Teacher Center Symposium, ASUGSV, SXSWedu, researchEd, National Association of Independent Schools Annual Conference, National Network of Schools in Partnership, International Mind, Brain, and Education Conference, and Learning and the Brain Conference. Glenn’s most recent publications include: "Your Checklist for Virtual Project-Based Learning" for Edutopia, "Every Educator Needs to Know How the Brain Learns" in ASCD Express and "How Brain Research Helped Retool Our School Schedule for Remote Learning" in EdSurge.

To support its work as an MBE translational hub, the CTTL has research collaborations with individual faculty from Stanford University School of Education, the Science of Learning Institute at Johns Hopkins University, the Department of Psychology and Brain Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis, and Harvard’s Graduate School of Education.
