"Buddy" work includes Textronics training, product design and support and supervision during Far East trip.JUNE 2016 - OCTOBER 2017 - Casual Shirt and Weave/Fabric design- Designing both weave [Textronics] and shape for Casual Shirting.- Working to price point and store grade allocation through range building alongside buyer, merchandiser and management teams.- Far East sourcing and development trips including India, China and Bangladesh.- Quick response design and development through Turkey.- International shopping and inspiration trend trips.- Weekly trade meetings to assess sales results for future season development.- Liasing with internal teams and external suppliers and mills throughout the development of the products.

Casual Shirts and Accessories - Identify and translate trends through trade shows, online research and international shopping trips to create seasonal trend packs across all brands and product categories.- Briefing designs, prints and fabric development to suppliers with techpacks via email andface to face working meetings at head office. - Far East sourcing and development trips.- Liaising with Buyers and Suppliers throughout the development of the products.- Design Performance reviews through weekly Trade meetings.- Range Building and Signing Off products alongside the Buyer and Merchandiser.- Supporting and training the Design Assistant.- Proposing Instore and Photography Concepts to Creative and Managment Teams.- Strengthening technical knowledge through internal and external courses

Focus on Essentials, Sleeplounge and Accessories- Daily design and administrative support to the design team across all departments- Updating current packaging and branding.- Creating prints and graphics across multi product categories including Sleeplounge, Shirting and Swimwear.- Concept built and designed a new contemporary brand for Sleeplounge including product, branding and artwork.- Designer for the SS15 Swimwear Range including prints, branding and hardware.

- Assistant to the Global Design Director, Accessories Director and Footwear Designer working from concept to research to final designs across all product categories for menswear and womenswear.- Solely responsible for the CADs and colour ups of all accessories, outerwear and hardware for AW14 tech packs.- Material and design research.- Creating technical designs and tech packs to hand over to the production team.- Administrative support for the team

-Daily support to Product Development team along the whole development path of all non-footwear products from initial concept to proto development to bulk production. -Liaising with suppliers, factories and designers on a daily basis.-Monitoring Critical Paths.-Fitting accessories for Adults and Children.-Assisting the Garment Technologist during sample and fit feedback sessions with the design consultants and directors.-Sample inspection and contributing to design development.-Measuring protos and updating specification sheets and techpacks.-Online Competitor Shopping.-Liaising with the Marketing Team and the Merchandising Team.-Solely sourced a new luxury fabric to be used across the AW13 range.-Solely responsible for all CAD work for SS14 accessories-Copy writing and copy checking for Trade Guide and department correspondence.-Product areas include outerwear, welly socks, knitted accessories, bags, umbrellas and boot care.
