I am a seasoned research scientist with extensive experience researching, developing, and applying computational tools to an array of challenging problems. I spent the first 16 years of my professional career championing smarter drug discovery as a computational medicinal chemist with Pfizer. The next two years were spent leading digital transformation efforts at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center to better support the mission of the United States Navy. I have returned back to pharma research and am currently a lead computational chemist at AstraZeneca supporting the small molecule oncology portfolio.I am a subject matter expert in computational chemistry, machine learning, data analytics, and data visualization. My transferable technical skills include Linux/Windows/Mac OS proficiency, Python/PERL scripting, Spotfire/Tableau, Pipeline Pilot/KNIME, SQL, Microsoft & Google applications, and a wide range of computational chemistry software packages.
