I am responsible for delivering customer solutions across all aspects of the submarine telecom/cable industry ranging from system engineering to business development and most things in between.

As Solutions Manager for TE SubCom's Oil & Gas fiber optic telecommunications business, I was responsible for developing and implementing global sales strategies targeting the Offshore fiber optic market. Being the primary point of project and customer accounts I managed major aspects of the business portfolio including: -Sales and Sales Operations (Account Management) -Market Strategy -Bids & Proposals Management -Contract Negotiations -New Product DevelopmentAs an efficient, single point of Sales, I represented technical and commercial disciplines simultaneously. I was also responsible for interfacing with, and coordinating bidding and contracting activity between multiple organizations within TE SubCom including Legal, Health & Safety, Marine Installation, Engineering, Commercial Management, and Human Resources. My International Sales experience in the Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia allowed for customized, on-the-ground customer care and management of key Oil & Gas clients, like BP, Chevron, Shell, ExxonMobil, Total and many others. I also liaised with "traditional" Tier 1 telco customers for various global projects.

As a System Engineer my responsibilities included engineering design oversight for all aspects of a submarine telecommunications project including:- Subsea Mechanical System- Optical System & Transmission Design- Terminal System DesignAs a System Engineer I was the primary customer interface for global telecom projects often making technical presentations and mitigating customer issues. In essence this position entailed technical account management liaising between internal and external teams to deliver a complete engineered solution on schedule. My principle customer base was the Offshore Oil & Gas industry.My technical account management as a System Engineer made for a logical transition to my subsequent role of Solutions/Account manager.

As a Mechanical Engineer, I worked within the Undersea Cable & Mechanical Development organization specializing in Engineering Design ranging from concept development through first office application. My typical activities included CAE with Pro/E, FEA using Ansys, new product qualification program development and execution, and product training. In addition, I supported TE SubCom's manufacturing facility for new product introduction, process development, and troubleshooting. My primary responsibility was to lead a new Product Development team to create innovative, cost effective products for undersea cable mechanical joints. Using Ansys, I developed non-linear, hyper-elastic material models to simulate various loading configurations for rubber bend-limiting joint protection. Subsequently, I lead an engineering team to design, manufacture, quality, and introduce a new, cost-saving product to market.I continued to support the Undersea Cable & Mechanical Development organization in an ongoing basis during my transition to my next role within TE SubCom, a System Engineer.
