Programme - Reform of Construction Industry Scheme (CIS)Build a compliance tool to ensure that contractors and sub contractors in the construction industry meet their tax obligations. In the April 2003 budget the Chancellor announced a £60 million reformation of the Construction Industry taxation programme. The vision was to deliver an efficient compliance process that reduced the regulatory burden on the industry and maximised tax rule compliance. Responsibilities:- Analysis, Design & Implementation of the Architectural Proof of Concept, covering new technologies, third party software, processes and interfaces.- Design & Implementation of System Prototypes.- Process engineering for development team- Administration of the Configuration Management System.- Construction of automated Continuous Integration and testing system- Review Analysis & Design realisations, code and unit tests.- Produce Use Case Designs- Implement Use Case Designs- Unit and function testing of code- User Experience Modelling- User Interface Prototyping using HTML and JavaScriptTechnologies:CIS utilised the following technologies: Java J2EE, HTML, JavaScript, STRUTS, UML, Pega Rules Process Commander, BEA WebLogic Server 8.1, Oracle 9i, WebMethods, the full Rational Toolset and a Data Warehouse. CIS will be deployed across multiple channels including Web, Contact Centre, EDI and Paper.
