I am an accomplished professional possessing a thriving career in the Oil and Gas industry as a consultant and subject matter expert in Geosciences.The search for oil and gas has taken me to remote locations across the globe on behalf of industry leaders Chevron and British Petroleum. In their service I have held such diverse roles as Earth Science Manager, Exploration Team Lead, Lead Geophysical Interpreter, and Senior Staff Geoscientist. The work requires extraordinary skills in multi-cultural leadership, project management, and employing astute judgment when recruiting international teams of diverse experts. Additionally, as a respected authority, I have often been called upon to conduct high level negotiations with senior officials from diverse societies requiring cultural sensitivity and shrewd business acumen. Over the past two decades I have developed subject matter expertise in evaluating basins in a regional scale, plays, exploration blocks, prospects, oil fields in a wide variety of structural and sedimentary settings. I gained first hand experience in some of the most important hydrocarbon bearing basins, including the Gulf of Mexico, South Atlantic, Caribbean, Mesopotamia (Iraq, Iran), Kurdistan, Russian Arctic and Russian Far-Eastern basins, West and East Siberia, and the Pannonian Basin.An acknowledged industry expert my credentials include a Ph.D. in Geological Science, a Master’s degree in Geophysics, and multiple publications in industry leading journals. I am a recipient of Chevron’s prestigious Chairman’s Award for successful leadership in unearthing discoveries in Iraq’s Kurdistan region. Additionally, I speak three languages fluently and have conversational skills in three others.
