Fitness has been my passion from my early teen years to present. As I was learning how to train my own body with a coach from the Jewish Community Center, where I would later begin my own coaching journey, I saw the benefits of taking ownership of your health choices. Through this training and knowledge, I began running marathons, obstacle races and more ambitious endurance events such as the Peak Death Race and Fuego y Agua Survival Run. These events showed me what the human body is capable of and encouraged me to take my fitness to levels that could further improve me and take me to the next milestone. Training correctly allowed me to move more efficiently, move faster, prevent injuries, and develop the knowledge and experience to improve the lives of the clients I now serve.I sought to study the science behind the fitness, obtaining a Bachelors in Exercise Science from Towson University. I wanted to be able to help others understand they can accomplish fitness goals of their own and take charge of their own health. Research shows even when we embark on fitness later in life, it provides us with exceptional benefits, such as longer life expectancy and experiencing fewer preventable health problems. Now, after a decade in the business, from small beginnings in a Jewish Community Center to working at Equinox in New York City, I am still continuing to learn about the role that fitness plays for each individual. Each client teaches me something new I can use to assist others. We can take actions together, as a team to realize your personal goals and how to best achieve desired results. Gym Lessans aims to simplify fitness while making goals fun and attainable. Let's inspire each other!
