I lead the Centre of Engineering Excellence within the Software Success department. We are a small team of highly skilled professionals.We created professional education and mentoring programs and a system of reviews. We built up a network of lead engineers and a solid engineering strategy which guides the engineering aspects of the daily work of the department. This resulted in a predictable and high quality product delivery.As a member of the Product Development Leadership, I participate in the goal and direction setting of the Product Development organization.

I led, supported, managed cross-functional agile teams, called "Tribes", each of them consisting of several "Squads". We created large parts of Archicad, the flagship product of our company. We built a cohesive team with the Senior Team Leaders and the Principal Engineer. We helped the personal and professional development of our colleagues.As a member of the Product Development Leadership, I participated in the goal and direction setting of the Product Development organization. Meanwhile, I fostered the better communication between the departments of the company.

As a director I am controller of various projects and developing strategic plans.

As a Senior Team Leader I lead “themes” that contain multiple projects. I and my team are responsible for the 3D visualization and architectural modeling areas.

The scope of my responsibilities was similar to a Technical Leader, plus I managed a five-six person team. Our task was to develop and maintain the 3D visualization engine.

Leading two-three person projects in the development of the next version of ArchiCAD. I was responsible for the development of engineering plans, work breakdown, assignment and supervision.

I took part in the development of Archicad, an architectural CAD program. I created the Geometry module from scattered algorithms. I introduced the Library Part type hierarchy which is the foundation of the application of the LibParts in different areas of Archicad. I wrote contour dropping on a Delaunay-surface, resulted in the first usable algorithms of curved polygons in Archicad.

Writing a two-platform stock inventory application.

I gave lessons for high school students about using computers.
