i3Cube Project: i3 Global (June 2009 – July 2011)Utilizing the Scrum framework, I provided technical leadership for the design and implementation of i3Cube, an application in the healthcare domain that integrates Electronic Data Capture (EDC) and Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS) features to efficiently conduct studies and clinical trials. The development team was spread across 4 locations and fluctuated between 10 and 15 developers. The application was constructed using a combination of Java EE 5, Adobe Flex, Adobe LiveCycle ES, and JBoss Drools. The development process incorporated Agile practices such as continuous integration, pair programming, and test-driven development.--Short-term projects (July 2011 – August 2011)Provided short-term assistance for three different clients using a mix of enterprise Java and Adobe Flex. Contributions included performance and stability assessments, resolving defects, and removing impediments.

Label Compliance Project: Abercrombie & Fitch (March 2009 – June 2009)Performed the design and implementation of a custom Flex application as part of an Adobe LiveCycle project. The application uses the Cairngorm framework and many of the LiveCycle workspace components. It provides additional functionality and improved usability, limits functionality based on user roles, and is branded to match the client’s other sites. Used an Agile approach to consistently collaborate with business owners, ensuring a satisfied customer and on-time delivery.

Gilly Hicks e-Commerce Project: Abercrombie & Fitch (October 2008 – February 2009)Worked with the Abercrombie & Fitch e-Commerce and Design teams to create a Flex 3.0 external e-Commerce site to support the launch of a new brand. This site will serve as the framework for all upcoming A&F e-Commerce sites, including all brands as well as international sites. The application uses the Cairngorm framework, Flex 3.0 modules, resource bundles, and several custom components. This combination resulted in an application that can easily be extended to support internationalization and repurposed for A&F’s other brands. Using the Agile Framework, the team was able to consistently deliver quality releases on a bi-weekly basis. Specifically provided technical leadership for the team, led the architectural design of the Flex application, assisted with integrating the Flex application with IBM WebSphere Commerce Server, and created the Ant build scripts needed to integrate with the custom build system already in place.

Contributed in the creation of the Passkey 5.0 Lesson Player. This was a complete rewrite of the application in a new technology (Adobe Flex 2.0). The team leveraged best practices and design patterns in the design of the application. I became the primary Flex 2.0 resource and guided the architectural design. The development team included several offshore resources, which increased the importance of clear communication and documentation.Contributed in the creation of a custom application framework written in Actionscript 2.0. This included extending the native flash components to support skinning with external assets, creating a data driven template engine, developing activity components to support the interactive functionality of the product, and creating a layer of abstraction for multiple server-side services.

Contributed to the design, development, documentation, and testing of Web Sites, Web Applications, Windows Applications, Linux Applications, and Multimedia Presentations. The technologies used include Macromedia Flash, Javascript, ASP, ASP.NET, C/C++, and Java.
