- Conducted research on accessory dwelling units, specifically an ordinance for ADUs that was passed by the Gainesville City Commission in 2020- Interviewed two members of the Gainesville City Commission as well as the Gainesville City Plan board in order to understand their reasoning behind voting for or against the ordinance- Designed a survey using Qualtrics that was sent to over 20,000 Gainesville residents to understand local views of the ordinance and ADUs in general

- Assisted my research professor in writing an Op-Ed on election integrity that was published in the Tampa Bay Times- Contacted Florida Supervisor of Elections offices in order to obtain public records regarding statewide voter files and precinct results based on the method of vote- Researched Florida Congressional members education levels and college majors in order to write an Op-Ed regarding Senate Bill 86 - a bill that included cuts to Bright Futures depending on students' majors

- Managed a team of eight people to successfully plan three organizational retreats, DE&I events, social activities and mentor/mentee relationships.- Improved organizational retreats by introducing two-day sessions rather than the previous one-day retreat. Doing this encouraged members to form deeper relationships with each other as well as incorporated more DE&I training into the event.- Led bi-weekly meetings for a team of eight people. During these meetings I assigned tasks, encouraged brainstorming and answered questions.
