Scan System Engineer of a core “Asset Team” responsible to develop & deliver “Scan/Copy Solutions” across all HP products for different market segments from consumers to commercial. It included introducing new ASICs, image sensors, migrating firmware platform, transferring new concepts into manufacturing & stabilization.• Managed outsourced design of sub-systems, manufacturing & assembly. Compared performance & cost of design options in a data driven manner. Created schedules & managed actions to meet milestones for scan module & illumination source. Performed risk analysis, developed test plans & executed verification of scan system & its subsystems. • Met milestones & solution delivery by analyzing & breaking down barriers at different phases: from early stage research (idea investigation) to product introduction & stabilization.• Developed image processing algorithms to resolve a wide range of issues such as "illumination", "mechanical mounting", "thermal", "image defects", "sensor defects", "intermittent issues".• Interpreted data from production or field to identify root cause, followed up with owners & rolled out a resolution.

MEMS and Optics: advanced optical metrology and inspection system- Analyzed, designed and developed a miniaturized optical interferometer- Developed the experimental platform to evaluate the design and prototypes- Microfabricated and characterized micro-lens and diffraction grating; other tasks included:- Instrumentation, data acquisition and data processing- Simulation- Wrote proposals and technical reports (papers) to fund the research- Led a team of three MBAs and developed a business plan to commercialize the research
