About Haley Attix
Recent graduate from NC State University with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology, Entomology, and Applied Ecology, currently working with arthropods as assistant curator at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences. Previous experience in the restaurant and service industry taught me precision, how to think under stress, how to multitask, critical problem-solving skills, and public speaking skills like verbal and interpersonal communication and conflict resolution. Since beginning my bachelor's degree, I have worked in labs where I learned lab safety procedures and safe chemical handling, how to make biological media, and aseptic technique. I am a reliable, efficient worker, careful and deliberate, with an eye for details who prioritizes organization.
