I rejoined Saba’s HR team to support the wider business by managing the full employee lifecycle. This includes supporting the HR and L&D Operations Manager in the development, communication, adherence and maintenance of all people related projects, policies, processes and procedures. Ensuring compliance with legislation, company policy and best practices to deliver effectiveness and efficiency through our onboarding and training programmes. My main focus throughout 2022 has been managing and updating our learning management system to improve our blended learning offer.

An integral part of implementing a 3 year learning and development strategy. Responsible for the design of over 80 bespoke e-learning modules to launch a learning management system and introduced an online company induction programme. This led to a 60% increase in new starter induction completion, with over 4000 hours of learning delivered in the first 12 months, saving over £50k in internal costs. In 2017 I played a key role in the accreditation and opening of the Addenbrooke’s Training Centre. This gave the business a cost effective solution for our internal security training and the ability to offer SIA led programmes to external clients. In 2019 the business was sold to Saba and I lead the rebranding project of our learning management system and all internal training material.

In 2015 the business was rebranded to Indigo and I was seconded to the role of Training Manager following the departure of the Learning and Development Manager. During this time the HR function went through a restructure and I was responsible for updating all current training material to the Indigo branding and became an ambassador for our new motto and company values.

I facilitated the company induction for new starters, which included a 5 day level 2 Civil Enforcement Officer training programme mapped to government legislation. I was responsible for the continued development of all front line employees across our London local authority contracts, conducting training needs analysis to ensure all development needs were being met.
