Dan concluded his 43-year career with the DuPont Company as Corporate Director of Sales and Strategic Accounts for the $30 Billion corporation. Dan led a global team that delivered innovative compensation, sales management, recognition, negotiation and basic professional selling skills programs that enabled substantially improved Sales and Earnings results.Prior to this role, he was Global Sales Director for DuPont Chemical Solutions. He held positions in the United States as Market and Business Director for the Clean and Disinfect portfolio of businesses; and he was the Six Sigma Champion for DCSE. Dan lived in Hong Kong and was Managing Director of DuPont Specialty Chemicals/Asia Pacific from 1993-1999. From 1991 to 1993, he served as Group Managing Director for all of DuPont’s businesses in the ASEAN region.Prior to moving overseas, Dan was the Director of Sales and Marketing for DuPont Freon® and led the team that introduced the environmentally preferable Suva® refrigerants to replace CFC’s. During this period, Dan and his team won a marketing excellence award for reorganizing refrigerant distribution and solving the decades old pricing problems associated with the Freon® refrigeration aftermarket. Dan started his career with DuPont in 1967 at Chambers Works. In his 43 years with DuPont, he has had various assignments in manufacturing, technical service, business, marketing, and sales; however, 35 years have been spent in direct Sales and Marketing activities. He has been associated with a variety of businesses including Dyestuffs, Titanium Dioxide, Fluorochemicals, Industrial Chemicals and Specialty Chemicals. Dan is a native of Baltimore, Maryland and he now lives with his family in West Chester, Pennsylvania. He is married to Wendy and has four children. Dan enjoys music, reading, cooking and traveling. He has a B.S. in Chemistry from Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland.
