SINAI is a Bay Area startup specializing in sustainability, catering to major firms in critical industries, like MUFG, ArcelorMittal and Natura. Among its contributors are alumni from universities such as Yale and professionals from companies like Uber, Google and MongoDB.As a back-end engineer in the Data Ingestion team, I:• developed features for efficient data input with a focus on performance;• maintained code, tests, documentation, health-checks as well as served in the on-call rotation;• created queries to evaluate decision impact and cost, reducing a project's scope by over 2 weeks withone particular query.One standout accomplishment was spearheading the implementation of a bulk-upload feature that processed hundreds of thousands of data rows in seconds - from, previously, weeks.

Thoughtworks is a global consultancy originated in Chicago (US) with 50+ offices in many countries. Customers, include Atlassian, Bayer and PayPal. It employs many luminaries from the software development world, including Agile Manifesto authors.My project was for BP (British Petrol), a British multinational energy company. During that time, I:• designed architectural components, such as authentication/authorization and the error boundary;• implemented and maintained features and tests;• worked hard to facilitate my colleagues's job by enhancing autonomy and reducing scope.Notably, I reduced latency by 40% across 22 database queries through DynamoDB best practices. This figure potentially underestimates the impact as it was measured before launch.

Linte is a leading Brazilian lawtech based in São Paulo, specialized in managing contracts' life cycle for legal departments. It serves 100+ customers, including Loft, Accenture, and Sony.In my role as a back-end-heavy engineer, I:• designed the back-end architecture, making it more modular, testable and explicit;• developed core features like Auto-Assignment and in-house document editing, contributing to the startup's growth from zero to 50+ paying customers;• interviewed, on-boarded, and mentored engineers, doubling the team's size;• led a team of 2 engineers and 1 designer to deliver key features, such as digital signature, in 2-week sprints.A notable achievement was delivering an SSO solution pivotal to a new contract valued at tens of thousands of dollars annually.

Indra is a large, international consultancy based in Alcobendas, Spain. It provides services for various companies worldwide - including Santander Brasil (a major bank), which is the one I worked with.There, I worked on the Costumer File project which was supported by two teams. The teams used the Scrum methodology and maintained various practices to observe the client's standards.I used Angular and its ecosystem (Jasmine, Karma, RxJS, SCSS, etc) to deliver dozens of components which were part of the SPA. I also mentored the trainees and, during later parts of the project, built relationships with various other teams within the client.This role's stack included TypeScript, Angular, RxJS, and unit tests with Karma.

SKY is a television service company specialized in delivering TV channels through satellite signals. They offer coverage throughout Brazil.At SKY, I was part of the Interactivity Team. This team was responsible for designing and maintaining software that allows the user to visually interact with the TV (or, more precisely, the SKY's modem) through the remote.During the time, I mostly fixed bugs and refactored features.Since the modem's oldest models run JavaScript 1.2 the team was constrained in which tools it could use. To mitigate this, I implemented various libraries - especially for Array manipulation and functional programming.
