I am a structural design engineer at Commonwealth Engineers Co. Ltd. (CECTokyo) in Japan, a leading company in civil and architectural engineering for various industrial plants designing and consulting around the world. I work on designing of RC/Steel structure and foundation, applying my expertise in seismic assessment and retrofit. Currently, I mainly in charge of structural designer of a geothermal power plants (in both steel and RC structures). I use advanced software and finite element analysis tools to design and analyze resilient and safe structures, solving technical challenges and delivering cutting-edge technologies.My passion for structural and earthquake engineering stems from my academic background and research experience. I have a PhD and a master's degree in structural engineering from Osaka University (Under Japanese Government scholarship:MEXT), where I introduced a seismic evaluation method and two retrofit schemes for flat plate structures, which are vulnerable to earthquakes and need improvement in Asian developing countries like Bangladesh. My research aimed to establish safe and secure cities in Bangladesh by creating earthquake-resilient technologies. I have multiple publications in both academic Journals and conferences in this domain, and I continuously seek to improve my skills and knowledge. I am dedicated to contributing to the global efforts of disaster risk reduction and sustainable development through my work and research.
