This position's responsibilities include customer service and customer care, updating accounting and financial data inside of Intuit's QuickBooks, managing daily company finances, and handling reporting functions via Excel in regards to maintaining and tracking artist royalty and mechanical royalty data. The position works with 300 + catalog items (music CD's in a pipe organ niche market) and knowledge of music and musicians is a plus. Order processing on the website's backend is also part of the job duties of this position; using software applications (such as Endicia and Tarantula) to augment shipping processes, as well as understanding international UPS and USPS procedures for shipping media. The position also handles correspondence, updating trademarks, providing escalation of technical issues encountered inside the order processing tool, and other duties as are necessary when operating a small business.

I started out as an analyst at Microsoft in the Information Services group, and was promoted to manager two years later. While there, I managed 7 Microsoft staff, 10 vendor staff, and 3 contract employees.I was responsible for establishing and managing the entire corporate records retention policy for Microsoft. I was also responsible for providing storage and retrieval of business information by partnering with a records management vendor (Curtis Archives Records Management, Pierce Leahy Corporation, First American Records Management, Iron Mountain Records Management). I also negotiated and maintained multiple vendor contracts and relationships. I had a budget of 1.3 million dollars and I oversaw secure and highly secure data storage facilities through additional contractual relationships.I worked closely with the most vulnerable groups in regards to providing business retention requirements (for example, Human Resources, Law and Corporate Affairs, Hardware, Risk Management, Internal Audit, Tax, Finance).
