As Senior Buyer (Global Strategic Sourcing - GSS) the responsibility is to Procure all direct and indirect strategic sourcing verticals. This responsibility includes strategic vision, operational planning, and execution.Procurement professional responsible for sourcing raw materials across multiple categories handling country wide operations

Vendor Management, Inventory Management, Purchase, Logistics, Vendor Evaluation, Production, Manufacturing.~ Purchasing about 150 Raw Materials on daily basis and maintaing stocks at inventory.~ Performing vendor development activity and Negotiation with present vendors for better pricing.~ Currently Handling Purcahse of bulk raw material (Maida) across PAN india wherein Monthly requrirement is 20000 MT.~ Making the contracts with suppliers surveing the markets seeing the price trends. (Assuming markets may move up)~ Negotiating by offering vendor to supply material by giving a benefit of 5-10% based on cash discount.~ Monitiring on daily basis whether payments relased to vendor on agreed terms of payment.~ Performing continuous cost reduction exercises for Materails, logistics changes.~ Generating the Purcahse orders in SAP and sending it across to the vendors.~ Handling Plan vs Actual Production on an daily baisis for local logistics and managing logistics during abnormalities.~ Coordinating with Warehouses for internal transshipments of commodities.~ Monitoring and analysing rejection Materials and taking remedial action.~ Planning accurately 3 Months stocks for flavors considering there leadtime as 2 Months.~ Monitoring Detention reports across all locations and taking remedial action.

~ Purcahsingover 4000Commoditiesand managing the invenorty~ Plancing the PO’s over SAP and cancelling the orders if it’s not deleivered within time. ~ Logistics time management stage wise from starting point to destination. ( Local Truck Logistics from Supplier ~ Company)
