I have worked at Microsoft on the Windows Shell team since 2010 on Windows 8, 8.1, 10, 10X, and 11. While on the Shell team I have contributed to and driven features in and around the desktop taskbar, windowing, desktop personalization, calendar agenda and lunar calendar integration, screen capture, UI framework development, accessibility, animations, test development, performance analysis and optimization, downlevel servicing, and more. Starting in 2022 I began working on the Windows Search team through CSI Interfusion, contributing to live service integration and support for search, content campaigns, Windows client and AI chat integration. My current role is on the Microsoft AI team where I continue to contribute to innovative Copilot AI development efforts.Outside of work I have pursued sewing for costuming and cosplay, producing 45+ outfits over 15 years. I do DIY woodworking and crafting, and pursue an interest in Japanese Mahjong, participating in regional and international events in places such as New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Paris, Tokyo, and the Netherlands. I have also developed a novel livestreaming hardware and software solution for live and offline mahjong video production. I have also been off-and-on independently developing a Japanese Mahjong mobile game "Mahjong SKY", which was published as an Alpha to the Google Play store.I have graduated with a Masters in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara in 2010, my research interests focused on sketch recognition and computer vision. I am also a Transgender woman and am the parent of a wonderful son.
