A 9-month secondment, during which I was required to support the implementation of SEGRO’s Group Data Centre strategy by working with the local key account management (KAM) teams across the UK and Continental Europe to grow our existing presence.Principal AccountabilitiesStrategy : Support the review of existing and new opportunities for data centres across the Group whether leasing, development, investment or new land opportunities. Review the data centre operator model and SEGRO’s role within that.New Business : Maintain excellent market-facing contacts with agents, consultants, customers and stakeholders. Identify additional business from existing and new customers looking at ways we can work with them to mutually expand our portfolio together on a pan-European basis.Development : Support the analysis of development opportunities and prepare appraisals and cash flows to demonstrate project viability in accordance with target metrics. Coordinate the preparation of Investment Committee papers and Executive Committee papers.

Territory : France• To identify and secure new land suitable for both speculative and pre-let development• To identify development opportunities and prepare appraisals and cash flows to demonstrateproject viability in accordance with target metrics.• To prepare Board Papers to secure capital approval for both speculative and pre-let schemes, inconjunction with the Development Manager.• To provide regular updates on scheme costs and build timescales on individual developmentprojects.• To liaise with the Asset Management and Leasing teams to actively seek developmentopportunities that will contribute to portfolio out performance.• To assist in the appraisal of land acquisition opportunities that complement the existingdevelopment programme and enhance portfolio returns.• To provide support to the professional team including: architects, planning consultants, costconsultants, environmental consultants, engineers and project managers.• To analyse town planning and its related schedules.• To analyse the environmental process and its related schedules.• To assist the development team by performing technical and legal due diligence.

• Développement commercial d’un service (les pompes à béton)• Création et exploitation d’une base de données pour définir les objectifs commerciaux • Présentation mensuelle des résultats des équipes commerciales et des parts de marché de l’agence• Analyse des concurrents• Résultats : progression pour l’agence de 1,5% du CA global et de 30 % du CA des services (environ 2 000 000.00 € / an)
